Fokker 70/100
The Fokker 70 and Fokker 100 are short- to medium-range regional jets developed by Fokker Aircraft in the Netherlands as successors to the older F28 Fellowship. Introduced in the 1990s, these aircraft offered modernized avionics, improved aerodynamics, and more efficient engines, catering to regional carriers looking for jet performance in smaller airframes.
The Fokker 100 was the first to be developed and is the larger of the two, seating up to around 100 passengers. The Fokker 70 is a shortened version designed to serve thinner routes with fewer passengers while maintaining cockpit and system commonality.
