Boeing 737-BBJ2

The Boeing 737 BBJ2 is the second model in the Boeing Business Jet lineup, introduced in 2001. Based on the larger 737-800 airframe, the BBJ2 provides significantly more cabin space than the original BBJ (based on the 737-700) while retaining similar long-range performance through the use of auxiliary fuel tanks and reinforced systems. It was designed for clients who required more space without stepping up to a widebody platform.

The BBJ2 appeals to heads of state, VIP customers, and corporations seeking a blend of commercial jet reliability with the comfort and customization of a private aircraft. The larger cabin allows for more expansive configurations, including private bedrooms, boardrooms, and lounges.
